Primary goals:

Our goal is to enhance Utah’s Wildlife Action Plan to make it a more strategic, guiding document for conservation of the state’s wildlife and their habitats.
Progress:

We have completed the project's first phase, the identification of conservation “Action Areas” -- a set of locations that collectively contains “enough” occurrences of priority wildlife habitats and species in the state. The second phase of fine-scale Conservation Action Planning is underway with partners in five Action Area locations.

Consistent with plans:

Species Recovery Plan
Nature Conservancy Ecoregional Plan
Conservation Plan
State Wildlife Action Plan
